Sin separated us from the holy one. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, reconciled us as the perfect atoning sacrifice. By the blood of Jesus Christ, we have been forgiven for our sins. Condemnation has been nailed to the cross. Satan is defeated. Death is defeated. It is finished.

It is the Lord’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life. Until the day we are raised up by the Lord, let us carry our cross as Christ did. The old, corrupted self must die. The new self, powered by the Spirit and a renewed mind, must live.

“When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, 
triumphing over them by the cross.”
