Seek Me - Original Acrylic Painting, 20x16

Jesus is placing the stairs to heaven and inviting you to take a step. He meets you right where you are. The keys to the kingdom are already yours.

This image came to me in a dream. When I finally built up the courage to bring it to life, I prayed that the Holy Spirit would guide me. Without any sketches, I picked 
up the brush and allowed it to flow. I began to paint Jesus facing away, with his back to us. I stepped back and noticed him actually facing toward us. The vines represent Jesus as in John 15:5; we are instructed to remain in him as we are the branches. The rocks in the distance represent the firm foundation that we have in Christ.

I prayed about the title for this piece and came across Jeremiah 29:13. I titled it 
“Seek Me.”

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
